Mr. Bean

Are you a fan of Mr. Bean? I am, and I got to see Rowan Atkinson (the actor who plays Mr. Bean) in a show the other night.

Mr. Atkinson is acting in the musical play called "Oliver." The play is based on the story Oliver Twist, which was written by the English author Charles Dickens in the 19th century.

He plays the character called "Fagin," and Fagin is very much a "bad guy." He makes young orphans go out into the streets of London to steal for him. But Rowan Atkinson makes Fagin very funny as well, moving about the stage in a way that reminds you of Mr. Bean.

One of the funniest things that happened during the play was when Fagin picks up a teddy bear (if you've watched Mr. Bean, then you know that he loves his teddy!) The audience laughed and laughed, especially when Fagin (remember ... he's a bad guy!) threw the teddy into the blazing wood stove!
